Please phone for a consultation. Please note that enquiries can be answered only briefly via email.

You are requested to come in 5 minutes earlier to fill in a client registration form if it is your first visit.

Bring your referral letter if you have one, results of relevant tests and investigations, list of current medications and your private health insurance card.

For the treatment of back or pelvic girdle pain etc, you are advised to wear a 2 piece outfit eg shirt and jeans rather than a dress so we can remove part of your clothing in order to properly examine the area in question. Try to wear a back-opening bra for your own comfort rather than a singlet bra or no bra.

Note that for Pelvic Floor consultations an internal examination is often but not always required. This can be discussed with the Physiotherapist at the time of the consultation. An internal examination allows for the internal muscles and organs such as the pelvic floor muscles and position of the bladder or assessment of the bowel for example, to be palpated and examined properly, just as if you were attending a Physiotherapist would look at a knee or shoulder etc. This  allows for correct diagnosis and management of your problem. Your privacy and dignity is always paramount and the examination will be fully explained and informed consent gained prior to any assessment. You can withdraw consent for any examinations or treatments at any time. Many women are concerned about their period at the time of an appointment. If you wish to reschedule due to a period, please dont hesitate to contact us.

We have the option of using Diagnostic Ultrasound to view the pelvic floor if an internal examination is undesirable. This has some limitations but can be helpful in many situations. This requires some initial preparation in order to have a full bladder and must be organised prior to the appointment.
