FunkyMama Bellilates is a floor exercise program designed for pre and postnatal women. This class focuses on core stability, pelvic floor muscle and abdominal muscle strength and spinal mobility. A variety of equipment may be used including exercise balls, mats, theraband and or free weights. Gentle music provides a supportive atmosphere.
Level 1 - Pre and Post Natal
Level 2 - More advanced post natal
Please discuss attending exercise class with your relevant health care provider; eg; GP, doctor, midwife, obstetrician or Maternal and Child Health Nurse, and download screening form and bring to first class 5 minutes early so that Fiona can check forms and discuss with you.
Bring a thick towel to lie on, a small pillow and your own exercise ball. Eat lightly at least 1 hour before the class and bring along a water bottle.
