Allow an hour for your workout. The class is based around a walking program and includes strengthening for arms, abdo, pelvic floor and legs as well as stretching tired limbs and backs. Fiona can check for abdominal muscle separation and strength during the class and can also discuss any concerns you have regarding your recovery with you either before class over the phone, or at the time of the class.
Please discuss attending exercise class with your relevant health care provider; eg; GP, Midwife, Obstetrician or Maternal and Child Health Nurse, and download screening form and client responsibility form and bring to first class 10 minutes early so that Fiona can check forms and discuss with you. If you require an individual Physiotherapy assessment, Fiona can arrange referral to appropriate Physiotherapy services.
Please bring light pram, pusher or sling for baby and sunshade or rain gear for you and baby and your water bottle.
