Seasons Of Life offer a range of Pilates classes including Clinical Pilates & Class Pilates. All of our Pilates sessions are ran by a qualified Physiotherapist. Our Pilates sessions are covered by most private health fund extras cover. Please see below for individual class descriptions.

Description

Clinical Pilates - 5 Max per group (Group Consultation - Individual Program - 560)
Group warmup followed by an individual program for each patient incorporating Pilates machines, equipment, mat exercises and stretching in a group setting. Patients must have a review appointment at least once every 12 months.


Antenatal/Postnatal Pilates - Max 8 per class (Previously called Pregnancy Pilates)
(Class Consultation - 561 or Antenatal Exercise Class - 595 or Postnatal Exercise Class - 596)
Gentle group class focussed on safe exercise during pregnancy and early post pregnancy. Also suitable for post-surgery.

Group Mum’s & Bub’s Pilates - Max 8 per class (Previously called Post-Pregnancy Pilates) (Class Consultation - 561 or Postnatal Exercise Class - 596)
Energetic group class that includes your baby in your workout (Pre-crawling). Class includes mat, ball & TheraBand exercises and stretching. Requires moderate pelvic floor strength.

Group Core & Floor Pilates - Max 8 per class (Class Consultation - 561)

Gentle mat based group class that focuses on your core muscles & pelvic floor strengthening. This is a mat based class. Suitable for pregnancy, post-pregnancy & post-surgery.

Group Circuit Pilates - Max 8 per class (Class Consultation - 561)

Group class that focuses on building muscle strength with exercises incorporating Pilates machines, equipment, mat work and stretching. Requires good pelvic floor strength.

Group Stay Strong Pilates - Max 8 per class (Class Consultation - 561)
Group class designed for Baby Boomers to aid bone strength & help reduce the risk of Osteoporosis. This class will focus on your whole body including pelvic floor, strengthening, stretching & toning.


Group Stress Buster Pilates - Max 8 per class (Class Consultation - 561)
Gentle group class combining exercise, stretching, mindfulness and relaxation techniques to help relieve the stresses of day to day life. This is a mat based class including ‘re-train the brain’, pelvic floor, yin type yoga & stress management. Suitable for all patients.
