General Policies

  • Reception Hours are between 10am & 1pm Monday to Friday; whenever possible please call or SMS during this period. Calls and messages received outside of these times may not be responded to until the following business day unless urgent.
  • Payment is to be made on the day by cash or bank card (Visa, Mastercard or EFTPOS). HICAPS is available for appointments and casual class bookings.
  • Do not reply to the reminder SMS phone number as this is an automated service. Please contact us on 0414 625 096 or info@seasonsoflife.com.au for any changes to class bookings
  • It is appreciated if you could advise us via SMS (0414 625 096) as early as possible if you are unable to attend your class or appointment as we may be able to offer your spot to someone on the waitlist. If you know in advance that you will not be attending a class that you have a booking for or would like to make any changes to your booking please email us at info@seasonsoflife.com.au.

 

Appointments

  • Consultations attract a rebate on most private health insurance physiotherapy extras. Please check with your insurer.
  • A cancellation fee of $20 will be charged for appointments if less than 24hrs notice is given. A Did Not Attend fee of $40 will be charged if you fail to attend your appointment without prior notice. We do understand that life can be unpredictable and if an unexpected illness or incident occurs please let us know as soon as possible prior to your appointment time and the cancellation fee may be waived or reduced. Cancellation fees are not rebatable through your private health insurance.  
  • EPC Clients (Medicare) Please note that you must pay the full amount of the consultation fee at the time of the appointment. You are then able to claim the Medicare rebate either through the HICAPS machine at the time of your appointment (a bank/EFTPOS card with a cheque or savings account, not a credit account, and your Medicare card are required) or from Medicare directly. The rebate from Medicare will not cover the full cost of your consultation. We do not bulk bill or accept Medicare Partial Payments.

 

Pilates Classes

  • Class invoices are generally not processed at the time of the class and will be emailed to you during the week following the class. Private health insurance claims will need to be made directly with your insurer after you have received your invoice.
  • Socks must be worn during all classes and Pilates assessments — with no exceptions.
  • Pre-crawling babies are included in Post-Pregnancy Pilates classes and can be carried using an appropriate baby carrier, eg Ergobaby, Baby Bjorn etc.
  • Babies are welcome at weekday daytime Pilates classes but must stay in their pram or capsule. This is for their own safety and that of all class members. Due to safety reasons babies & small children are unable to attend evening and weekend classes. Older children must wait in the reception area during class.
  • Please BYO a bath/beach size towel otherwise a $1 hire fee applies (honesty jar near towels). Please note that hire towels are washed weekly, not after every use.
  • Please bring a drink bottle to all classes.
  • Pilates is rebatable with most private health insurance physiotherapy extras cover. Please check with your insurer using the appropriate code for your session. Class codes are 560 for Clinical Pilates (Individual Program) and 561 for all other group Pilates classes; alternatively code 595 can be used for Pregnancy Pilates & 596 for Post-Pregnancy Pilates.
  • All Pilates sessions are instructed by a qualified Physiotherapists. Sessions are generally 45-60 minutes long with a maximum of 5 people (Clinical Pilates) or 8 people (all group Pilates) working along side each other. Seasons Of Life will endeavor to run all classes but reserves the right to cancel a class if deemed necessary. The Pilates timetable will be reviewed before the start of each term and is subject to change at any time. Please refer to the Pilates Class Bookings section for details on class booking options.
  • A cancellation fee of $10 will be charged for classes if less than 24hrs notice is given or $20 if less than 4 hours notice is given. A Did Not Attend (DNA) Fee of the regular class fee may be applicable if you do not cancel prior to the class starting. We do understand that life can be unpredictable and if an unexpected illness or incident occurs please let us know as soon as possible and the cancellation fee may be waived or reduced. Cancellation fees are not rebatable with your private health extras insurance.
  • As per private health fund regulations clinical Pilates clients require a review appointment at least once every 12 months or if your circumstances change injury, pregnancy, childbirth. Your health fund will not cover your classes if this criteria is not met.
