Peony Fernandes
Physiotherapist

Peony took over ownership of Seasons of Life in October 2015. She has a wealth of experience in Women's and Men's Health and Continence Management from having worked at the Royal Women's Hospital, Monash Health, Western Health and Northern Health. She has always enjoyed working in private practice and derives immense satisfaction from running her own practice. Together with the rest of her team at Seasons of Life she looks forward to making your physiotherapy experience a warm, pleasant and wholistic one.

Sue Carlin
Physiotherapist

Sue has almost 20 years of experience in the field of Continence management and Pelvic Floor conditions. Having qualified as a Physiotherapist in London, UK, she commenced her specialisation in this area at the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel.  She moved with her family to Melbourne 20 years ago and since then has worked in many areas and health services in Melbourne. Sue has a special interest in treating complex bowel conditions and chronic pelvic pain. She has also worked as a massage therapist with various sporting clubs.

Paige Tsakmakis
Physiotherapist

Paige works with us on Wednesday evenings, and spends the rest of the week as a member of the Physiotherapy team at the Mercy Hospital for Women. She developed a passion for Women’s Health while still a student after witnessing a birth for the first time, and one which intensified after a rotation in the Maternity Unit at Western Health. She has a strong interest in childbirth education, and active skills for labour and recovery of the pelvic floor in the postnatal period and beyond.

Louise Mansell
Physiotherapist

Louise brings experience and enthusiasm to Seasons of Life. She has a keen interest in all areas of Women’s Health especially pelvic girdle and pelvic pain. She is also a qualified massage therapist and passionate about Pilates. She is keen to help women prepare for birth with Pregnancy Pilates and teaching active birth techniques, as well as pregnancy massage. Her other interests include gym, martial arts, bike riding and kayaking. She loves camping with the family and getting outdoors.

Catherine (Cat) Smith
Physiotherapist

Cat obtained her physiotherapy qualifications in Queensland where she worked as a neurological physiotherapist. She takes our Pregnancy and Clinical Pilates classes on Monday and Thursday evenings. Cat is interested in starting up Tai Chi for Health classes at Seasons of Life as soon as her children are a little older. She is also interested in teaching Active Birth skills in preparation for labour.

Peta Elliott
Remedial Massage Therapist

Peta takes appointments for Pregnancy and Remedial Massage on Tuesday afternoons and evenings. Prior to obtaining her massage qualifications she worked as a Physiotherapist at the Royal Women's Hospital where she gained valuable experience in women's health and pregnancy- related conditions. She is the mother of three boys and also practices remedial massage at a general practice in Northcote. She has a keen interest in supporting breastfeeding.

Nikki Reid
Admin/Reception

Nikki is at Seasons of Life on Monday mornings and Thursdays. She keeps our wheels on and our engines running! She is happy to answer your questions and is the best person to ask if you have any queries about classes, passes and your account generally.
