What to Wear / What to Bring

For Pilates sessions and classes

We have air conditioning and heating. Layered, comfy clothing is best.

Wear a supportive bra. If breastfeeding, sports bras are more supportive than maternity bras, so if possible feed baby before exercise. This will also prevent discomfort from heavy breasts. Avoid underwire or creases in bras to minimise pressure on breasts and inflammatory conditions.

Please wear firm fitting socks....

.....or even better Pilates socks
with a non slip sole(available at $15.00 per pair from us). You may wear runners especially if you need orthotic support. Unfortunately unless you have socks or footwear you will not be able to attend  due to hygiene concerns.

Please bring a bath/beach towel and water bottle to class. All other equipment is supplied.

For your Appointment

For back or pelvic girdle pain please wear pants or a skirt that can easily be removed as we undress down to underwear to be able to effectively diagnose and treat the body part.

For neck, shoulder or rib pain, please wear a top that can easily be removed as we undress to underwear to be able to effectively diagnose and treat the body part.

For Pilates initial assessments, exercise gear or loose comfortable clothing.
